Cross Member

We build transmission cross-members for easy removal of the transmission and ample room for exhaust tubing. Another important feature is that the rubber trans mount is at the same level as the bottom of frame and no lower.

In achieving this we build our attachment points higher up inside the frame rail. Notice the aluminum spacer between the frame rail and the cross member. You simply remove the bolts and spacer on both sides and the cross member is easily removed. In addition the 4130 chrome moly tubing is strong and light weight.
