During the build we prefit all the panels and trim including the bumpers. First thing to determine is if they are worthy of the build?

All the chrome and nickel is stripped off and we begin to tap out, metal file and block sand the bumper to a wave free finish.

Often a bumper will have tears and or in this case a bumper jack hole needing to be filled. This car is not an original car so removing these and adding some beauty is important. On Hot Rods we like to eliminate the bumper jacks so no one will be tempted to use them and destroy the bumper from the weight of the car. Bumper Jacks are a very bad idea.
