All trim is stripped of any chrome and nickel then fitted to the car for a razor blade gap. It is then re-plated in copper for another round of final fit.

As seen we have a tight fit problem. After the final blocking in primer is done and it is ready to paint is the perfect time to final fit the trim. The final copper plate or strike does not cause a build problem so we will not encounter any fit problems after this stage.

Each part is final fitted then cleaned and sent off to have nickel and then chrome applied.
