69 Cougar - Brakes

A Big Cat needs Big Brakes so we opted for a Mercedes style electric power booster of which we will hide up in to the left front fender. We will install a Billet master cylinder on the 1969 Cougar in the stock location but she will be power assisted with this unit.

Another component is the emergency brake, as seen we needed to fabricate a new rod from a short factory one to a long unit. This will also help exhaust clearance issues.

At the rear we had to relocate the cable holder in a different position.

A bracket located on the caliper assembly attaches to the built in emergency brake on this BAER system !

Cross drilled Rotors and large calipers will stop her in her tracks.

Upgraded Baer brakes system will halt the Cougar in her claws, sorry I meant "tracks". Another step in the Muscle Car Restoration process checked off the list!
