Exhaust systems have to be custom fabbed to fit and look symmetrical side to side. When a typical muffler shop bends the pipes they leave ugly crushed areas so this is the only way, unless you have access to a true mandrel bender but you would still need to mock up a nice fitting set of pipes before a Mandrel bender should be used. We stuck a few pieces close together to give an idea of the front cross over section.

Hooker header has a decent fitting pair of pipes for our small block. Unfortunately all headers will take some massaging or alteration to an acceptable fit. This angle shows how nice the pipes were installed up in between the floor and frame connectors. A tight clean fit to say the least.

Another angle showing the mufflers, this was the only location we could make it work with. Making sure the mufflers are level before proceeding is a must.

Close up shows the V-band clamp and bushings for pipes to be held in place.

Urethane bushings abound where we connected the support brackets off all pipes and mufflers.

This Cat will have a 500 horse small block so free flowing exhaust is mandatory. Flow master stainless mufflers are fitted in the only place they can go with all the suspension/frame mods. Note the V-band clamp attaching the tail pipe to the muffler. This system is leak proof.
