1966 Mustang - Start Project
The little black coupe sits waiting for its time for refining. Many paint jobs along with a few color changes were done through out the years.
I have said it a thousand times they all look good from 50 foot. Once the paint is stripped to her bare self we will see what her body really looks like and begin this Mustang restoration.
Things like misalignment and bad panel fit tend to show that something happened at one time or another.
Owner Scott Meadows likes the little pony and wants to bring her back to life so we are ready to offer the best in Mustang restoration.
289 badges are still intact with the factory sport wheel covers.
Twisted rear bumper shows that previous damage has happened.
The interior was rough and although incorrect for the 66 model the owner likes the color so we will stick with this 65 shade of red.
After the disassembly was done we inventoried all the parts. Now it is time to strip the paint to see what we truly have.
As Bob strips the paint we uncovered some serious rust on the Mustang.
