1966 Mustang - Paint
The body is ready for her white satin coat.
Mask off as she awaits her new coat of white satin.
Front valance with bumper filler is also ready.
It turned out nice. Nat's turn now as he gets it back to color sand.
Time to cut and buff.
All bolts are inserted in to box holders and spaced accordingly to paint the edges and tops with exact detail.
Details make the difference.
Hung and sprayed white we are coming along on the trunk, hood doors and smaller parts.
Looking good Bob.
Once the paint was applied it needs to be refined to look as smooth as glass. Nat uses one of our many round contoured blocks to fit the Mustang body.
Flat areas require a flatter block.
Large concave areas require a larger round block.
Once she is finished in 1500 she is ready for a preliminary buff to inspect for more color sanding and refining.
Polished to the highest lustre!
2nd to none is what we do.
Nat was trained by the best to become the "ultimate".
A steady, "ripple free" fluorescent light image is the standard. No flutter on the outside of the light tube is the goal.
