1966 442 Oldsmobile - Start Build

Mr Lord had to have it right so off to Texas we go from the great state of California. Many years of use have taken its toll on this 442

In general nothing fits on the car which was the G.M. Production line quality of the era.

The gaps were way off but we will over come it with consistency.

The all original interior shows some wear but its all there.

The head light and surrounding trim is rough and scratchy but were not skeered.

The old lines need replacing as well as the power top motor.

Single 4 barrel carb will be changed over to a tri-power system.

A Tri-power system was pre fit to the car and is a natural fit for a 442.

Console was worn and scratched front to back.

Factory console "Vac Gauge" is 40 plus years old and in need of our expertise.

The original door panels with speaker holes are looking a bit abused.

Chassis was rusted from stem to stern with pits a million.

This is after we steam cleaned it!. It looked much "greasy" worse.

Dash and gauges both needing total restoration.

Original wheel is cracked in many places.
