1965 Corvair - Parade Boot

The original parade boot was still intact although in rough condition as the rest of the car was.

We fit it to the car and modified a few areas in order to get an exact fit. We then dissected and used it for our template.

The new pieces were cut out to make the new boot then we stitched it up and it is coming along nicely.

We are starting to add the remaining pieces to the top section. The drop off in to the interior and binding the edges.

As seen the parade boot fits good. Next we will add the snap buttons in order to stretch and attach it at the same time.
