1965 Corvair - Mechanical Rebuild

The blower motor box and assembly is showing what 40 plus years of rough treatment looks like.

This is what we do, clean em up and make them work and look better then new.

Assembly is fitted with new seals that we fabricated from scratch and we are ready to final paint all sections.

Brake pedal assembly. We obviously do not show every part being done on a project or it would take you 3 hours to look at all the photos so we just touch on a few parts of before and after shots. Enjoy.

Done, she presents herself well and is upgraded with new bushings and lubed with anti seize on all pivot points.

Power top gear boxes are a radical looking item.

Disassembled they are all dried out with the grease sitting in a pocket at the bottom.

We de-grease then media blast all parts.

We changed out the old bushings and upgraded to hardened seats/pins etc.

All parts ready for reassembly.

Old vs better then new and ready to install for a lifetime of service.
