The Convertible top is ready to rebuild including mechanisms and gears. This particular car has no hydraulics. A motor with linkage and gears controls the whole power system.

We remove the weather stripping and tag / photo all to compare to the new kit. Sometimes we make our own rubbers if we are not satisfied including shaving or adding to the kit.

The header frame above the wind shield where the hold down levers are attached is usually rusted out. This one is showing some thin spots.

Mechanisms are dirty, grimy etc

All screws will be replaced etc.

Retainer strips are held in place with tabs and some are rusted away so we will need to restore it completely.

The parts are cleaned after being dipped in our tanks and ready to start the process.
