1965 Corvair - Body Block

We have fitted, tweaked, sliced, pushed and pulled everything we can to get the body in to proper alignment so it is time to start the blocking phase. After 3 coats of hi-build we begin.

Bob starts out on the sides of the car working it down using our 30 inch long block.

Getting down low on all the lines and lower rockers makes the difference.

The hood gets its share of blocking.

The rear engine cover gets the treatment with refined gaps and body panels fitting flush.

The body is about ready to paint.

Dash is ready to paint.

Inside doors and jambs also. After re-priming, curing and re-sanding she is now ready.
