63 Galaxie Wheel House

We built the rear wheel houses to fit between the outer edge of the qter panel and flush with the frame rail. As seen Louie adds the final touches to the round part of the inner section by adding a side wall mock up that will face the frame rails.

The side wall was made then welded in place to form the complete inside section.

As seen we need to fabricate the outer section to match the larger inner section in order to finish it off.

Louie fabbed the outer section and is performing some hammer and dolly work to finish it off.

A little English wheeling to massage her in to shape.

As seen she is ready to install. This outer section will go in after the inner is installed then it will be slid back out to the qter panel. Once it is fitted we will then weld the entire seam of the two halves to form a one piece unit.
