We measured and marked the radiator mounting brackets for location and then referenced for reassembly. We pulled the sides off first by heating the solder. Next the bottom brackets were de soldered and removed. 70 years of use and abuse take its toll on any part.

We dip tanked all the brackets and they are ready to blast.

Now that we have it primed it has to be fitted to the car as it supports the hood and grille shell. After the body metal, block sanding phase is complete we will disassemble the complete body to prep for paint and then we will detail the radiator before final assembly.
