1936 Truck - Body Blocking
Fitting all the panels and body working them together is the only way to get dead on results. She is looking good and waiting patiently for her Black and Washington Blue paint.
When is the last time you saw an old style fold up hood fit to a body cowl and radiator cover with 3/16th gaps and laser straight body lines?
Back of cab shows body lines flowing smoothly.
Door to cab gaps perfected as well. Look at the inside lines and how they match. Then check an original production line 36 Ford to compare.
Measuring the distance helps Nat get everything even from one side to the other when block sanding.
Looking good.
Under side of every panel gets the same attention.
Bottom body lines and panels flow just as well.
Louvers are very hard to get this straight and true. A very fragile part of a 30s truck.
Fenders come off to finish the edges.
