1928 International Truck - Horn Button

The Horn button was missing when we started on the truck so another part had to be fabricated from scratch The orig button was made from bake light plastic. We like to build orig parts to look exactly like they were but with better materials so they will last indefinitely. We chose aluminum to make our part.

We located an old farmer who had some 1928 INT truck parts and we purchased them from him. As seen an original button to model ours after. This original one is to rough and fragile to use but gives us exact dimensions and spring system. Aluminum was dome curved to match.

Cut down to size and looking good.

Eric machines it to accept a spring and retainer as per the original one.

Primed and ready to paint.
