The hood emblem was dented in several areas and needed trueing before any refinishing could take place.

As seen we have a 1/2 board backing up the emblem, this allows the metal to conform in a gentle state when removing dings and dents from fragile parts like these emblems.

We flip over the emblem and block sand using 220 grit to see where we are at. This provides the exact location of any dents still needing work.
