1928 International Truck - Fender Body
The fenders had usual rust and dents with one being very hard hit and caved in. Still the cost to straighten was cheaper then fabricating a new one scratch because finding a new old stock one is impossible.
The 28 suffered much body damage as it was more then likely used to haul items and was abused most of her life. This twisted fender reveals the dark side of abuse and use. The support wire was ripped from the overlap and hanging down.
As seen the fender has taken some of its natural shape and is coming along
Sighting down the side she is straight and true
An exact match to the other side.
The nose piece was really rough and required much work.
A skim coat of filler and all imperfections are gone.
Hi build primer finished off in 400 grit and black paint ready.
