Ribbed Plenum Cover

1. We will be taking a finned aluminum air cleaner and cutting it down to fit a fuel injection plenum box for cosmetic purposes. We have measured the box and cut the section out on our bandsaw.

2. During our initial fit we have made note and determined where final trimming is needed.

3. Eric is taping the fins off as a safety measure during grinding and fitting.

4. As seen Eric is heating the aluminum fin using a soft flame attachment while applying pressure with a C-clamp to remove a slight Bow along the bottom surface to perfect the fit to the plenum.

5. A bit of hand sanding using 80 grit paper with a block will finish it off to completion.

6. She fits nicely and we can now start the prep of the motor to paint.
